People

The humans behind the toast

We’re a small team on purpose. No layers, no pass-the-parcel account management, no juniors learning on your budget. The people you meet are the people who do the work. They’ve been doing it for years. They’re very good at it. And they have strong opinions about fonts.

Kim Browne
Kim BrowneCEO
Kim co-founded Twisted Toast Digital and runs the business with the same editorial instinct that made her an award-winning magazine publisher. She built brands at FHM and heat, knows what sells before the data confirms it and can spot a weak headline from across a room. She leads strategy, client relationships and the relentless pursuit of work that properly does its job. She also named the company, so you can thank her for that.
Louis Eksteen
Louis EksteenMD
Louis came from magazines, moved into digital before it was fashionable and never stopped writing. He leads brand strategy, content marketing and digital campaigns, builds digital products and software when the situation demands it and has become one of those people who uses generative AI for everything from SaaS development to search optimisation strategy. He holds an MBL, a postgraduate journalism diploma and a marketing honours degree, which he mentions here because his mother would want him to. He also proofreads restaurant menus.
David Browne
David BrowneCFO
David is an electrical engineer with an MBA from Wits who makes sure the numbers work while the creatives argue about colour palettes. He manages agency finances and operations with the kind of quiet competence that keeps everything running smoothly, which is exactly the sort of thing you only notice when it stops.
Dylan Browne
Dylan BrowneBrand Experience Manager
Dylan holds a BSc in Conservation Ecology from Stellenbosch, which is about as far from digital marketing as you can get… until you realise that understanding systems, patterns and data is exactly what modern brand management requires. He runs Google Ads campaigns, manages brand content programmes, builds performance reports and has a gift for turning analytics into decisions. Digital native is an overused term, but in Dylan’s case it’s accurate.
Erik Verster
Erik VersterCreative Director
Erik is responsible for the creative output of the agency, which means everything visual passes through his hands before it reaches yours. He designs websites, brand identities, publications and campaigns with the kind of meticulous attention to detail that makes other designers slightly nervous. He’s been doing this for a long time and it shows. In the best possible way.
Angela Henderson
Angela HendersonSenior Designer
Angela has a rare ability to translate a brief into design that looks exactly like what you wanted but couldn’t quite describe. She works across graphic design, website design and brand collateral with a consistency and creative intelligence that clients rely on and colleagues admire. Her reputation for excellence is well earned and entirely deserved.
Quinton Hoffmann
Quinton HoffmannSenior Designer
Quinton thinks about design the way engineers think about bridges: It has to look good and it has to hold up. His expertise spans brand identity, website design and publication layout, with a particular talent for making sure beautiful creative work actually functions in the real world. Form and function, every time.
